The apartment was a good size for two, and it was really nice. It's very close to Waseda Station on the Tozai Line.
The room had useful basics, including a washing machine and induction stove, and the stay itself was fine. But the building's sound insulation may be poor, and the downstairs neighbor seemed extremely sensitive to everyday noise. By the fourth night, we'd stopped talking, turned the TV way down, and were moving quietly. We were just getting water, charging our phones, and settling in to rest, but the neighbor came upstairs and rang our bell several times to complain. They even said they weren't sure the noise was coming from us. The next evening, after customer service or the host had spoken with the neighbor the night before, they came back before we'd even started showering. We were only planning to take turns showering before bed. Worried about another complaint, we skipped showering, dinner, and our usual evening routine, and went straight to bed. That constant worry about whether ordinary activities would trigger another complaint was the most exhausting part. If you want to shower at night, have a snack, pack, watch TV, or otherwise relax as usual, you might find it stressful here. It may also be a poor fit if you're very sensitive to everyday sounds.
The apartment was clean and spacious by Tokyo standards, and the location was great. Just be aware that the apartments are on different floors, up to 5. There's no elevator, so expect to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs.
Comfortable and spacious, with all the facilities you need.
