It didn't feel good staying here. It was built as temporary housing for construction workers, so it lacks a lot of things you'd expect at a regular hotel. There's no outlet by the bed, so I couldn't charge my phone while lying down. There's no pen, charging port, or light dimmer either. I booked for a cycling event because the place was advertised as 'for cyclists', but staff told me there wasn't any bicycle parking at all. It felt like the owner had lied to me.

The location is great, and it's a cheap hotel. Our bunk bed room was simple and clean, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was a buffet for just 500 yen. The park has an amazing view, and you can visit the San Juan Bautista museum next door.

It's repurposed post-tsunami housing, and there isn't anything fancy about it, but it was a nice place to stay and the food was good. The rooms had bunk beds, a private bathroom, and a small TV. I'd stay again if I got the chance.

The room smelled bad, and the walls were thin enough that I could hear people next door. Dinner runs until 8:30, but by around 8pm there were no side dishes left, and the food was terrible. The location is bad too. A lot of construction workers seem to stay there for long stretches, and there were lots of rough-looking guys, which made the atmosphere awful. I'll never stay here again!

The room was on the small side, and the toilet was so cramped I nearly hit my head on the door, but the place was clean and quite comfortable. For a meal, you choose a main dish, with grilled salmon, simmered dishes, pickles, salad, grated yam, seaweed, egg, miso soup, ice cream and more. Nothing fancy, but the warm rice was delicious and the food felt like good value. Breakfast comes in a Japanese or Western option, and there's a free cup of coffee at the front desk. If you're driving, you can get a discounted admission ticket to Yupoppo at the front desk and use the bath there for the day.
