Izukogen Gokeikan Koyoro

We loved being able to take our dog on vacation here. They were so accommodating, and he had a great time. There’s a lovely yuzu orchard to wander around, and the dog park is just outside the back door of the room, which made taking him out really easy. We hope to come back or try one of their other locations.

Had a fantastic stay with our pets. This is a good place to stay, and we'll definitely come back.

We had a birthday anniversary in Izukogen with our adorable dog, and were glad to find this dog resort hotel. The room was very clean and had a moderate amount of space for me and one dog. Service was excellent, with a warm, caring attitude toward guests. The French dinner was actually good and very affordable, including free wine, beer, and soft drinks. Thanks for the kind welcome and for looking after my dog :)

This was my second stay. I liked the hotel last time and was looking forward to seeing it after the renovation, but I don't think I'll return. I was surprised how much went wrong on a trip. It was for my birthday, though the birthday itself was the day after, and I'm glad I'd booked another hotel for that day. More than a month ahead, I called to change the meal plan and was told it was fine. Then at 5:30 pm the day before, they called to say it couldn't be done after all. If they'd told me sooner, I could have canceled and booked somewhere else. Nobody apologized at check-in, and after I checked in they oddly offered me juice. I was exhausted and just wanted to get to the room. Isn't check-in when you'd normally have a drink like that? My luggage hadn't been brought to the room, apparently forgotten, so I had to call the front desk to have it delivered. I'd also called a month earlier and again the day before to ask for the bed to be against the wall because I have a child. It was still in the middle of the room, with no explanation. They hadn't understood the request at all. They didn't ask about dinner for my dog or explain how to order it, so I had to call the desk. I twice asked for our dinner courses to come quickly all at once because my child gets bored, and repeated the request at the restaurant when dinner began. Service was still slow. If they couldn't do it, they should have said so from the start. We also got the wrong drink. The dog's food was nearly frozen, like sorbet. That was just awful. They kept disappointing me.
