The Premium Hotel in Rinku

We stayed for a night in summer before our flight from Kansai the next morning. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms had plenty of space and good facilities. It’s close to the outlet mall and the beach. You can get almost all the way between the hotel and the station on elevated walkways.

The location is especially handy for Rinku Premium Outlet, which is very close. The room was very big, clean, and nice. Breakfast was good and felt fair for the price.

After a long day on foot, pushing my wife in her wheelchair, I finally reached reception. I had booked through Booking.com and paid the full amount shown, including all taxes and fees, around 15.000 Yen. Then, unlike the other hotels in Rinku, they unexpectedly asked for another commission in cash, 200 Yen for two people. What was it for, and why wasn’t it listed anywhere on the Booking.com ad? It felt rude and ridiculous, showed no sense of humor, and gave me the impression that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Please correct this misleading information and take the unfair ad off Booking.com, especially when other hotels list every cost and may lose customers because of it. Your manager can call me, and I can explain how my wife and I suffered yesterday.

The room is quite small, and the soundproofing is poor enough that conversations from neighboring rooms are easy to hear. It’s also more than a 15-minute walk from the station, which is inconvenient with large luggage, and the road to the hotel isn’t easy to manage with bags.
