The staff were very courteous, and shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. But my room was only separated from the next one by a basic partition and a curtain, and the person beside me snored so loudly I barely slept. If I stayed here again, I'd want a fully private room.

The room was clean, and the large lockers and washlet toilet helped me feel secure. For the price, I was really satisfied, and reception was very friendly. At checkout they told me to leave the key in the locker. Slippers and towels cost extra. Free slippers would have made me rate the place higher.

The air conditioner setup was the main problem for me. It was hot, but although the remote was on top of the fridge, I couldn't even find the unit at first. It seems to be inside the section partitioned off along the outer wall. People sleeping right by it get the airflow directly, while those farther away can't adjust the temperature easily. With everyone's curtains closed, there's only a gap near the ceiling, so the distant beds barely cool down and get unbearably hot. I couldn't just change the temperature without asking the people already asleep near the unit, and lowering it might make them too cold, so I left it alone. Something needs to change: move the unit into a shared area, or make the part where it sits a shared space instead of accommodation. I can't see how the health department or other authorities could approve a dorm like this. They need to do their job properly. I spent one night in a dormitory. There was plenty of clattering from other guests' lockers and a humming noise that seemed to come from an outdoor air-conditioning unit. I'd read reviews about the noise and brought earplugs, so it didn't bother me too much. The mattress sagged a little, but I could still sleep on it. I expected some drawbacks at such a low price, but the air conditioner was the one that really got to me.
