I felt so peaceful and relaxed here, and the stay went well beyond what I expected. The crew were warm, welcoming, and polite, with impeccable service. My room was very spacious and quiet, with a perfect Mt Fuji view, and the bed and pillow were super comfortable. The ryokan was spotless and well maintained. I loved both the private and public onsen, and breakfast came in a private dining room. Thank you, Fugaku Hanabusa, for such wonderful memories ❤️🙏🏻

The service really stood out. Everyone was kind and helpful, from meeting us at the car and bringing in our bags to our friendly, helpful meal server. The view made the stay worth it, with Mt Fuji and sunsets visible from every room. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and great value. I also liked that the private baths were first come, first served and free. The rooms and hotel feel a bit dated, and the private baths were nice but nothing special. Still, for the price, it was an amazing stay and I'd love to return.

The tub on the room balcony was the standout, and the view was amazing even with Fuji hidden behind clouds. I also loved the private rooftop onsen in the chilly wind. On a weeknight there was no wait at all. The staff were lovely and friendly, and free drinks in the lounge were a great touch.

I've lived in Japan and stayed in lots of different places, and this is the best Ryokan I've been to. The staff were so sweet and attentive, and they took care with every detail. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, so I slept well. I loved the breakfast too.

The property is clean and well maintained, as it should be, and sits beside a river with pleasant walking paths and a partly rural feel. The little town is neat and tidy, and Mishima is close enough if you want to visit other ryokans around Izu. We drove here. When the season is right, there are several strawberry fields nearby to visit. On clear days Mt Fuji is visible from the room and the property. Staff may not speak much English, but they're courteous. Dinner is simpler than at other Ryokans, though the ingredients are fresh and the price is lower. There are three small private baths at no extra charge, as well as the public baths.
