The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a truly lovely stay. Although it's only a short distance from the station, close enough to catch a glimpse of the Shinkansen if you lean out a little, the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. I especially enjoyed trying the ramen shop and Japanese restaurant recommended by the staff and owner. I'd love to come back.
This clean, tidy guesthouse is about a six-minute walk from Kanazawa Station, in a very quiet area. Getting around is easy, and there are lots of restaurants and izakayas tucked along the streets and alleys. Menya Taiga, the well-known ramen shop, is in a nearby alley, and FamilyMart is about three minutes away. There's also a large parking lot close by if you're driving. For shopping, FORUS department store is about a four-to-five-minute walk toward the station, with Kanazawa Hyakuban-gai shopping center a little farther along. The first floor has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, washing machine, and dryer. There are heaters in the rooms upstairs, where the bedrooms usually have two beds. Larger groups can sleep on the floor. Kanazawa's main attractions aren't far away. Highly recommended.
