The private beach and nearby swimming spots were a highlight, and the family onsen has a gorgeous beach view. It's small, and you don't have to get naked with strangers. Breakfast was delicious, and the proprietors were friendly and attentive. We had a wonderfully relaxing beach holiday in late September 2025, with the place almost to ourselves. The water was lovely, and September is still hot in Japan. The only downside for us was the hard beds.

It's a secluded bay, and the service is excellent. The apartments are enormous, almost ballroom-sized, and there's a tennis court and SUP rental too. The meals are all homemade, from bread to ice cream and cheesecake, and that's just part of it. They handled my SO’s vegan diet without any trouble, with creative dishes that made her meals every bit as good as mine. The family has run the place for almost 50 years and celebrates in July 2026. They take real pride in it, and you can tell.

A lovely place for a weekend getaway and for exploring the area. The pension has a private beach, so you can wake up to the sound of the sea. The food is locally sourced and tastes really fresh.

A great little place for friends or family, with spacious cabins and clean bathrooms. Breakfast was quaint, and there's even a private tennis court, with racquets available to borrow for a charge. The small private beach is great for families with kids, though it's not really a place to sunbathe. It's also close to both Uchizuma and the south side surf breaks.
