The food was decent, with plenty of fresh fish, and the staff were friendly.

A solid, well-balanced hotel in Kamaishi. It also survived the last tsunami.

I chose this hotel because you can see Kamaishi Port from the room. The sky was clear that day, and the beautiful blue sea was soothing. Around 6:20 the next morning, I was moved by the deep red dawn and the rising sun. Even on the reasonably priced plan, dinner included shabu-shabu made with freshly harvested wakame, which was a lovely surprise. I’m thinking of coming back when the cherry blossoms are out.

The staff's service, the room view, and the delicious food all made my stay wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality over Golden Week. Fifteen years after the earthquake, I could really feel how hard you’ve worked on recovery. I’ll keep supporting you. Thank you so much! ✨

The harbor-front location gives the place a nice view, but in winter the room takes a long time to warm up, even with the air conditioning on. There’s no microwave for guests to use, either. It would be nice to have at least one, since prepared meals and bento boxes have to be eaten cold.
