The resort is dated, and the reservation process can be tricky, so Google Translate may come in handy. If you’re okay with that, it’s a lovely place to recharge. Our room had its own Onsen, where we spent most of our time. There’s also an onsite glamping area. The grounds are old-fashioned but really beautiful, with trees and hills all around the basin. They’re great for an early morning or late evening walk. There are small picnic spots, a walking path, electric scooters and walking pedal scooters. Table tennis is on the second floor, where you can ask reception for paddles, and the public Onsen is there too. There’s EV parking if you drive one. The resort also has shuttle service from the train station. Look for the shuttle marked Kyoto Keburikawa, and remember “ Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu “. The food was great, especially the breakfast buffet. Staff were fantastic and very helpful, even though we barely speak Japanese. Wearing the Yukata made the stay feel even more relaxing.

The room came with an open-air hot spring bath, and I’ll remember that stay for a long time. Dinner was delicious, with luxurious Japanese touches, and breakfast was a buffet. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

We couldn’t be happier. The baths were sublime, the rooms superb, and the garden was a delight, especially Bubble garden with its foot spa. The restaurant was spectacular for both dinner and breakfast. The service was so good, they really wanted to make our stay the best it could be. We got complimentary pizza and drinks when we arrived, and again later. There are activities to do, and they’re great with kids, with special activities for them too. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and roomy, with a comfortable soft bed, though the decor felt a bit old-fashioned. The baths were clear and relaxing, especially the open-air one. The hotel has plenty to do: free walking bikes and table tennis for 30 minutes, or a stroll through the courtyard and camping field. It’s set among lovely rural scenery and fields. Staff, particularly in the dining area, were very friendly, and the food was exceptional, using fresh local ingredients. A great experience for a reasonable price. I’d recommend it.
