Yoshinogari Onsen Hotel

the onzen is great, just keep in mind you can't go in after 10 pm

The location worked well for my business trip, with a convenience store and roadside station nearby. The hotel itself is a perfectly ordinary business hotel. I’d been told I could use the hot spring next door, but it was temporarily closed for equipment problems on the day I stayed. What luck, lol. They gave me a hot spring voucher at the last minute, though since the bath is already included with a hotel stay, I probably won’t get a chance to use it. Maybe next business trip!

The room was quiet, so it seems like a good place if all you need is somewhere to sleep. It’s an older business hotel room, but there was no odd smell, and the air purifier with humidifier was enough. I stayed one night without meals and got a free ticket for the hot spring next door, where I could relax during its opening hours. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, so you can’t choose your own temperature. That may come down to personal preference.

The room was clean despite being a little old, and the amenities were fine for one night. I’d used the day-use hot springs before, but this was my first hotel stay, room only. Guests get a free stay voucher for the neighboring "Yoshinogari Onsen," so I had a relaxing soak and sauna. I heard some rustling from the room in front of me at night, though the place seemed relatively quiet overall. A nice option if you’re after a relaxing stay around the Yoshinogari area.
