Kazueya

The location was amazing, and the house felt spacious and comfortable. One thing to know is that its stairs are very steep, which could be difficult for older guests or young children. We had an incredible stay and highly recommend it.

The team at Hotel Pacific Kanazawa managed Kazueya wonderfully. My partner and I had the whole traditional house to ourselves for four nights, and it was so quiet at night. The garden was lovely, and the neighborhood had a charming feel, close to the river. We were lucky to catch the Sakura in full bloom in April. The bedroom is upstairs, reached by narrow stairs, so take care. The kitchen and bathroom/toilet are downstairs. We ate out every day and only used the provided teapot to make green tea. The house was amazing, and the neighborhood is lovely. It's actually my favorite district in Kanazawa. The staff were friendly too. This was one of the most authentic experiences I've had in Japan. Six stars! I hope I can come back someday. 🌟

We loved staying in this character-filled traditional Japanese house on a little historic back street. It made us fall in love with Japan, and it's just a short walk from plenty of places to eat and drink. The staff at the hotel that runs the house were great from the start. They held our bags until check-in and even gave us a free taxi from the hotel where you check in to the house. We had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a true Japan experience.
