Shiori Machiya Holiday House

I really like the decor and the style is beautiful. The double room on the second floor had a slightly odd smell, though. Otherwise it was very good. I hope the host can suggest some nearby restaurants.

The staff member who helped me was very flexible, and I really appreciated the excellent service. The house is beautifully done inside and comfortable, with underfloor heating and other heating systems. It seems like a single house split into two for use as a hotel. Access is easy, around a 10 minute walk from Korinbo station and close to the former samurai residences. Almost all the dishes and cooking utensils are provided, so you can make your own meals. They also have their own coffee beans, and I enjoyed freshly brewed coffee in the morning.

The whole family was very happy with our stay. It was spotless, well cleaned, and really pleasant. The only things that bothered us were the compact sink, which was awkward to use, and the lack of a mirror in the bathroom. We could also hear the neighbors' footsteps. It's a townhouse, or maybe a long house, so I suppose that's hard to avoid. Thank you very much.
