Minn Karuizawa

The room was cozy, clean, and well furnished with antique furniture. I liked having plenty of chairs, and the twin room was a good size, with a comfortable mattress and pillows in different sizes. The separate toilet and bath made for a relaxing soak, and there was even a TV monitor in the bathroom. Everything I needed was in the room. We had restaurant room service at the same prices as eating there, which was really convenient. The staff were lovely and flexible. I didn’t mind the noise from other guests in the antique wooden building. Our room was at the end of the second-floor corridor and was quiet, though traffic from the nearby roads sometimes came in when the window was open.

The location is beautiful, and the staff are very kind. My room was also well equipped.

The bathroom was spacious and had a TV, which I really liked. The room itself was a little old and slightly dark, but it was clean and comfortable. The man at reception was very friendly and gave excellent service. I also enjoyed being able to have sake, wine, and tea in the lobby. I’ll definitely stay here again.

It was very peaceful, and I was able to relax in a lovely room. Breakfast soup was delicious, too. When I forgot something, they contacted me right away, so I could go back and pick it up. I’ve stayed here before and would like to come back when my children are older.
