I spent a month and a half at Noriko’s place in Kawasaki, and it suited me perfectly. Noriko kept the house spotless and well maintained. I liked winding down in the shared living room and kitchen, cooking and sharing meals with Noriko and the other guests. Kojimashinden Station is a short walk away, and central Kawasaki takes about 10 minutes to reach, with plenty of connections onward around Tokyo. Kawasaki is also well placed for visiting Yokohama, between there and central Tokyo. I highly recommend it for a Tokyo visit.

There are mosquitoes in summer. The first floor only has a toilet, so for a shower you have to use the shared bathroom upstairs on the second floor. No laundry detergent is provided, so bring your own if you want to wash clothes. You won't use the furniture and facilities on the second floor. You also need to buy drinking water in advance. The parking space is very small, only suitable for K cars.

The host, Noriko, was kind and helpful while I booked my stay to explore the Kanto region on my way home from my hometown; we had a comfortable chat over sweets in the living room, which made for a relaxing visit, and I'd like to stay again if I'm back in the Kanto region ✨✨✨
