I liked the lighting most, especially the soft strip behind the beds, with a lamp beside each one. The room also has a projector screen instead of a TV, which is a fun touch. I was in a standard twin room, and both beds were electric, so I could move them into the position I wanted. They're a bit firm, but I slept fine once I adjusted the bed. The wake-up alarm is unusual too: it slowly raises the bed an inch or two every few seconds. I wake more easily to movement than sound, so it worked great for me. The bathroom had a shower but no bath, unless you upgrade to the better twin room. There was a nice Panasonic bidet toilet and a small but pleasant sink area. Pajamas and slippers were provided, though neither fit me because I'm on the larger side, with broad shoulders and bigger feet. They also left two cups, toothbrushes and combs, plus shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Housekeeping came daily to make the beds, replenish toilet paper and bring fresh towels. They changed the sheets every three days, which I think is perfectly fine. The location worked really well for me. Kawasaki Station and Keikyu-Kawasaki Station are both nearby, and an outdoor shopping street, or shōtengai, is about a 50-second walk away, probably less. There's a small mall in Kawasaki Station and a larger one, Lazona, connected to it. The area felt mostly local compared with busier parts of Tokyo, and I expected good food at great prices. There are lots of girl bars, regular bars and similar places around, but the people on the street won't bother you if you aren't interested in what they're selling, unless you're into that stuff. My main issues were the small table and the lack of water in the room. With the table by the couch, only one person can eat there, so the other has to use the bed. You can buy water at the many nearby convenience stores or grocery stores, or get it in the lobby or on the 10th floor. That floor also has hot drinks like matcha, hot chocolate and coffee. Check-in is at 3 pm, and arriving two hours early at 1 pm costs 2000 yen. Aside from those things, everything else was perfect for me, and I'd stay again if I get the chance.

The room was spacious for its 20m size, and came with a big projector. I also liked the free drinking water and microwave in the lounge, and breakfast was yummy, especially the fresh salad, French toast and sandwiches. Staff were helpful, though the service was so-so. It's walkable from the station, but the surrounding bars and nightlife are my only real downside. I wouldn't say it's a good area for female travelers. Overall, good value, with good rooms, staff, breakfast and facilities.

The room had a slightly inclined bed, modern design and a bathroom bigger than in other Japanese hotels I've stayed in. I could open the window for fresh autumn air, and the air conditioning was cool. The shower had strong hot-water pressure, and the projector included YouTube and Netflix. Toiletries smelled nice, and the price was affordable. Kawasaki station has lots of food and shopping nearby. The walk from the train station felt a bit long, though, and there are plenty of bars and clubs in the area at night. I'd suggest sticking to the major roads on the way back. The pillows were too thin for me.

Please be careful booking here. I reserved six nights through Bookings on January 9 for a week-long vacation in March. When I checked yesterday, the property had cancelled it without giving a reason or notifying me. I tried to contact them through Bookings, but my message wouldn't send, and I couldn't get an answer from the hotel either. They may cancel a reservation without telling you, and it would really suck to discover that at the last minute.

The room was definitely different from the usual hotels I've stayed in, but that's all I can say about it. The lobby is too small, with all the space taken up by merch, so there's nowhere to wait for friends or family. The staff were okay, though less friendly than at other hotels I've used. One person spoke to me too casually, which made me uncomfortable. We also hadn't realized the hotel was near sketchy adult establishments, and had to walk every day along a road full of adult entertainment shops.
