The room and lobby have no view, and the hotel is a little far from the station. Still, the bed was great and the washroom was surprisingly big for a Japanese hotel at this price. The Mejiko retro observation room beside the port costs only 300, so it's well worth a stop for a rest.

The location is great, just a short and easy walk from Mojiko station. It's reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable, with friendly service. A good hotel.

There's a shampoo buffet, and you have to use stairs to get to the entrance.

The building is a little old, but it was very clean and pleasant to stay in. The shower pressure was strong, and the large refrigerator and several microwaves would work well for a longer stay. For 100 yen, breakfast was surprisingly good. The bread was thick and buttery, and the coffee was drip-brewed with good beans. It wasn't self-service, either, a staff member toasted the bread for me. Businesses like this, which may seem unassuming but do their job well, deserve more recognition.
