The one employee we dealt with was genuinely kind and patient. He called to confirm the reservation and explain the accommodation tax, and shared what information he could in English. His help made a real difference, given the state of the place. The resort feels neglected now. Wallpaper is peeling, with a poor attempt to stick it back down, and there’s rust on the outside and around the door frames. It wasn’t very clean either, the TV remote was sticky, and getting around without a car doesn’t seem convenient. The nightly rate was low, and it matched the experience. It’s hard not to think it must have been a beautiful place a long time ago.

This was the worst hotel of my life. I booked and paid a month ahead, but when we arrived, the staff said there were no rooms available. The room they assigned us was the employees’ room, and it was dirty and untidy, with no hot water. It was cold, so washing in icy water wasn’t an option. They also said they couldn’t refund us.
