The bathroom window let in plenty of daylight and fresh air, and the room and unit bath were clean and comfortable. The bed and futon were soft, with a handy outlet by the pillow. Water pressure, hot water, ventilation, quiet, and air conditioning were all great. The Wi-Fi, though, was slow and unreliable. For two people, we paid ¥5,400 for one night through Jalan, so ¥2,700 each was excellent value. The hotel parking needed a reservation and was already full when we called. We parked at Mitsui Repark Hyogo Nishimiyauchicho Parking Lot, about a five-minute walk away. Its ¥300 rate from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM was helpful.

I stayed here to watch a soccer game, and the stadium was only a 20-minute bus ride away. There’s an Aeon Mall by the station, so it’s easy to pick up whatever you need. I booked because the price seemed good, and the place was better than I expected. The entrance was clean, and the room had a toilet and shower, plus a fridge, TV, hangers, and an outlet beside the pillow. They also provided a toothbrush, razor, and nightgown.

The front desk staff didn’t seem to understand when I asked about sending a package to the airport by courier, which was disappointing. The renovated room itself was clean. I just wish there had been a kettle and cups in it.

Having a large Aeon nearby was convenient, and the renovated bathroom was clean. The twin room had no table, though, which was inconvenient. Even a folding one would have helped. It was summer, and the cicadas in the neighboring park were so loud that they woke me up.

There wasn’t even a hair dryer, and the station is far away. The room felt shabby, too. The floor by the bathroom entrance creaked and sank under my feet. I won’t go back.
