Hotel Eldia Luxury Kobe

The bed was really comfortable, but this place is tough if you don't speak Japanese. The staff don't speak English, and the tablets aren't available in English either. When we booked, they said breakfast was included and would be room service. But in the morning, when I went to order on the tablet, it said everything was sold out, only in Japanese.

I wouldn't even give this place one star. The front desk woman was unpleasant and had a bad attitude. The room wasn't properly cleaned, and hair in the bathtub clogged the drain. The shower head came off when I was using it. The body soap smelled like bodily fluids, so I couldn't use it. I can't recommend this hotel at all. They need to improve things immediately.

The room was even smaller than a business hotel single, and the front desk staff were rude. I couldn't choose my food. It was a unit bath, and water kept collecting around my feet while I showered. They advertised something, then acted as if it was normal to say it wasn't available that day. I find that strange.

They welcomed me warmly even though I'd let them know I was arriving late. The room was clean, bigger than a business hotel room, and had lots of amenities. Later, I asked for a certificate of accommodation and they responded promptly.
