I spent four nights here, and every night the noise around midnight woke me up and spoiled my sleep. If you want a quiet night's rest, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

My non-smoking room had actually been a smoking room before. Keep in mind this is an older hotel, and you could end up with a smelly room.

The location is a real plus, right across the street from Chinatown and close to coffee shops, restaurants, and department stores. Inside, though, cigarette smoke lingers in the elevators. The “Morning Service” is only bread, hard-boiled eggs, and drink machines. Rooms are tiny even by Japanese standards, with a strange light fixture and no desk space. The old little fridge was inefficient and didn't keep anything cold.

The room and facilities were nice, and breakfast was really good. It could use a few more protein choices.

The location is great, and the place felt just right to me.
