The all-white facilities looked beautiful, and even though it rained, we still enjoyed the glamping. The BBQ area was comfortable because we could close the curtains. I’d always wanted to try glamping, so it was a shame about the weather. I can only imagine how great it would be on a sunny day. The host happily agreed to my request for a birthday cake and was very happy about it. The facilities were very clean, and it seems like good value even without meals. The showers were clean too, though it would have been nice to have a nearby affiliated day spa or hot spring. When it rains, water drips from shoes on the upper shelf of the shoe rack onto those below. There’s barely any roof over the entrance, so it’s inconvenient that you can’t leave your shoes or the provided sandals outside. I’ll give it four stars and hope for a sunny visit next time. The neighbor’s chickens were noisy in the morning, lol.
My kids had a great time, and the place was bustling with families over the weekend. There’s a swimming beach nearby, so you could make a good two-day, one-night trip of Kujukuri Beach. We also appreciated having an affiliated beach house right in front, where we could pick up extra BBQ ingredients. As you’d expect from a beach house, the seafood BBQ was excellent. This was my first seaside glamping trip, though I’d been glamping a few times before, and I was a little nervous. I ended up extremely satisfied. Palm trees and other details gave the whole facility a tropical feel. The white-based dome tent was calming, and it was incredibly clean. The fluffy beds and towels impressed me, and even the in-room microwave was a Balmuda. The price felt very reasonable for such high quality, and the simple plan was a plus compared with places that have complicated plans and pricing. Great value for money.
The kids seemed to enjoy the BBQ, but the outdoor wooden deck had no shade. In the middle of summer, it was hot and buggy out there, and I got bitten and itchy. I really wish the place had more trees and greenery. Since it’s a tent-like setup, the air conditioner kept the dome cool when turned all the way up, but the toilet and shower were in a small outdoor area without air conditioning. It was unbearably hot in there, lol. Even with a hair dryer provided, I had to go back to the dome to use it, then come out again, sweating. The noise from the people next door was really loud, and I couldn’t help wondering why. There’s no plumbing in the dome itself. It was my first stay in a stylish dome-shaped place, and while the kids enjoyed having a BBQ, I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the middle of summer.
I was able to relax, and I’d like to come back. It was quiet and comfortable at night, even though I think the place was fully booked. I wasn’t bothered by other guests’ noise. It was a hot day, so the tent was warm when I checked in, but the air conditioning cooled it down quickly. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, perhaps because the facility is new. This was my first glamping trip, and I’m glad I tried it.
The futons were so comfortable and clean. Rain didn’t spoil things, since the BBQ area in the large room at the back was covered and we had fun there. The air conditioner worked well too. On a rainy day, having the umbrella from the room means you can get to the toilet without getting wet. I’d use this place again!
