There’s no food nearby, and the location isn’t good, about a 17-minute walk from Kuki Station, Saitama. The walk-in rate was ¥12,000 for a room they said was good for two, while the usual nightly price seems to be around ¥7,000-¥9,000. Breakfast wasn’t included either. I regret rushing into a nearby hotel choice. Bad decision, sigh.
The building shakes each time a Shinkansen goes by. It’s an old-fashioned business hotel with very small rooms, though smoking rooms are available.
WiFi was out for all three days. I reported it many times, but nobody came to deal with it. A very bad experience and very negligent.
When I tried to shower in the morning, only cold water came out. The air outside smelled bad even with the window open. I also had a frightening dream for the first time in a while, maybe because I was near a haunted spot. That last thing doesn’t really matter, but please fix the problems above.
There aren’t many hotels in this area, so I appreciate being able to stay somewhere at such a reasonable rate. It’s also quite an experience when the room jolts every time the nearby Tohoku Shinkansen passes.
