The front desk staff were very professional, and it’s only a six-minute walk to Kurume nishitetsu station, where you can catch buses to local attractions. My room was small, as I knew when booking, but it was enough since we travel without large bags. It was clean, quiet, and practical, and I liked that the window could be opened. The duvet was one piece rather than separate parts joined by linen. The shower had good pressure and the mirror stayed clear, though the faucet flow was very weak, as at another hotel I’ve stayed in, so I assume it’s an eco measure. The nightgowns were comfy, and there were lots of amenities to borrow by the elevator, including coffee and tea.

I’ve stayed here three times while visiting from the US. The room is small but clean, with Wi-Fi, a little fridge, tea kettle, desk, and TV. It’s very affordable, and the staff are all friendly and helpful. I’d stay again.

The room is clean and comfortable, and for a single room in Japan it feels fairly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is near Nishitetsu, though JR Kurume is a bit farther away, so you’ll need a bus or taxi to get there. Breakfast is very simple, just bread and coffee. There’s a radio in the headboard that controls the lights and plays background music to help you sleep, and the room also has a dehumidifier.

The complimentary breakfast was simple, with a croissant, egg, and coffee, and a nice way to start the day. We chose the hotel for its location and price, especially since it was a Saturday and a similar business hotel in Hakata was charging a fortune. The rooms were tiny, as expected, so keep that in mind if you have large luggage. Our eight-seat rental car couldn’t fit in the hotel’s parking lift because of its height and length limits, but there were plenty of cheaper open-air lots nearby, so it wasn’t really a problem. Stayed in March 2018.
