It’s in a good location and feels very much like a hostel. The people running it are kind and attentive, and they make great food. The rooms could use more hooks and places to hang things.

It’s a homely, beautiful hostel close to Niseko ski resort. The staff are kind, and it’s a sociable place that’s great for meeting people.

We were there for 3 nights. The place was comfortable and clean, in a former school converted into a hostel while keeping the building’s original character. There’s a restaurant as part of the hostel serving home cooked meals at a very reasonable price for Niseko. I’d highly recommend it if you want a meal for less than 1000yen per head. Ana, the host, is a very nice older gentleman, polite and helpful. Please excuse my photos, I couldn’t capture the rustic beauty of the place and they don’t do it justice.

The nature walk was a lot of fun, and our guide shared plenty about the wildlife. I brought my three teenage kids for a traditional Japanese snowshoe outing, and we all had a great time. I'd definitely recommend it.

Thanks to Bouken kazoku, I got to see Hokkaido's first snow of the year! Mr.Anan took really good care of all of us, and everyone was so nice.
