Mountainside Palace

Niseko Wow were fantastic to deal with. The back office, drivers and front desk teams were professional and quick to answer our questions. Mountainsides palace was clean, matched its description, and had all the amenities our four people needed. It’s close to shops, restaurants and the local bus. The ski lockers and drying room were a nice bonus. I’d highly recommend their service, one of the best I’ve dealt with.

The place was spacious, stayed warm, and had nice people in a great location. There was a sewage smell in the bathrooms, though, and they tried to fix it but couldn’t. We also couldn’t use the stove on the first night and morning. They sent a service person the next day, which was nice. It turned out the stove was induction and the pans provided weren’t compatible. They gave us new pans the following day.

The apartment was older in style but very adequate, with a large, well-equipped kitchen for cooking. It had two large bedrooms with ensuites, a third guest bathroom, and a separate laundry storage room. There’s a communal locker and drying room downstairs, and the entry was secure with door locks and a safe. The location was perfect for bus shuttles, places to eat and grocery shops, with a short walk to the family lift. Snow removal machines could make the front noisy at night.

Ludo & his team @ Vacation Niseko made the holiday feel very well organised. We were picked up and dropped off at the bus station by friendly, helpful staff. The apartment was clean, modern and well equipped, and good value for money. It’s close to the slopes and all the restaurants. They even sorted a small request when I needed a blender. Very good feel factor!
