The rooms are tiny, but the price is very low. It’s inexpensive and within walking distance of plenty of attractions, convenience stores, and restaurants. Bike rentals are available at a fair price too. Our window faced a main road, though, and the soundproofing was poor, so earplugs are a must.

The room’s small, but it’s enough, and staying here feels more like living in the city than visiting as a tourist. It’s inexpensive, with free Wi-Fi, rental bikes, a washing machine, and a place to cook. There’s a supermarket about five minutes away.

Buses 9 and 12 stop here, but the place was hard to spot since there’s no clear sign. The smell from the kitchen sink spread through the whole room.

The staff were really friendly and flexible. It’s a great budget option for a longer stay.

A budget place to stay, with nice spots around Kyoto that are easy to reach by city bus.
