Satsukian made our time in Kyoto feel especially memorable. It’s a beautifully arranged traditional Japanese house, with a peaceful, authentic atmosphere and lots of care in the details. We enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend it. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby, the bus stop is very close, and the subway is walkable.

Our group of eight was very comfortable here. The bus stops nearby can take you anywhere around the city, the metro station is reasonably close, and there’s a convenience store just around the corner. I especially liked that the washing machine also works as a dryer.

Just keep in mind it’s a bit away from Kyoto’s historic area. The place itself is amazing, and you can tell a lot of thought went into everything.

It’s peaceful here, but still close enough to reach places of interest. We booked through Airbnb, and the free bikes were a nice extra. Loved the stay.

The house had a lovely old-fashioned feel, and the host was so kind. It was also in a good spot. One of my favorite places I’ve ever booked.
