The price was quite reasonable, and the room turned out bigger than I expected. The water pressure in both the shower and bath was weak, though, so I ended up leaving the in-room bath unused.

The food is tasty, and even though I don’t drink much, I can enjoy it. This is a long-established inn with a Showa-era feel, and I think it was often used for weddings. I used to live in Masuda and stayed here once or twice a year. I came back for the first time in five years for a general meeting of [organization name].

Our family had a pleasant stay, thanks in part to the very friendly staff. The building and facilities are old, but both the room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. We arrived late at night, so we booked breakfast only; it was reasonably priced and tasty. It’s a long way from the station, but the taxi was only about 1,000 yen. For that price, staying at this ryokan felt worthwhile compared with paying a lot for a hotel near the station. I’d come back if I get the chance.

The meal plan was reasonably priced, and there was plenty of delicious food. The staff’s service felt warm and thoughtful. The facilities, however, were showing their age. Our twin Western-style room was spacious, but the carpet had stains, the unit bathroom smelled of sewage, and cleaning seemed to have been missed in places, with several strands of hair left around.
