The little onsen is nice, and without it I don't think the place would be worth it. The inn is a bit old. The family running it is really friendly and humorous, but I don't think they're interested in making it better. They seem like a nice family keeping the business going, though it doesn't come across as a passion.

A lovely experience in a mountain inn, with an ofuro and the option of breakfast and dinner. The hostess was delightful, and everyone was extremely kind, warm, and welcoming.

The landlady's cooking was delicious, especially the soba noodles, and the price was reasonable. The bath is small, but its lukewarm water flows straight from the hot spring and makes for a relaxing soak.

The bath was hot and left my skin feeling smooth. I only asked about dinner that same day, but they kindly prepared it for me, and it was delicious.
