There’s plenty of free parking on site, and the hotel sits right by the coast with a lovely sea view from the balcony. I liked it a lot. The standard twin was roomy, with a huge private onsen-style shower and bath room, plus modern touches like a TV, kettle, small fridge and AC. The photos here may not do it justice.

I chose this hotel for its pet-friendly rooms, and found them spacious and comfortable. In good weather, the big veranda is a nice place to relax with your pet. The hotel faces the Seto Inland Sea and is around 30 minutes from Matsuyama Station. You’ll need to drive to supermarkets and other places, though Gongen Onsen is nearby.

I visit Ehime every year, and this time brought my two dogs after finding Setouchi Resort Hotel, which allows pets. The room was clean and spacious, and both we and the dogs could relax there like at home. We couldn’t have dinner at the hotel, unfortunately, but it was great being able to have breakfast with the dogs. The sunset from our room was incredibly beautiful. I hope to come back next time.
