The New Year lunch was a real highlight, traditional and excellent. I also liked having a private room for the onsen, plus access to the observation baths upstairs on the top floor. I went shortly after New Year for both. The downside was the front desk: the staff, especially the woman there, were curt and not friendly at all.

They let me use the private bath despite my tattoos, and it was clean and really relaxing.

I asked about the public bath and dinner on two separate visits, and both times I spoke with the same woman at the front desk. She was very unfriendly each time. I won't be going back.
