We live nearby, but Kodocodo still feels like a place we want to stay overnight. We come back every year for our wedding anniversary. The pace is slow and relaxing, and the other guests have been lovely, with a comfortable sense of space. From the balcony, the view is spectacular, with Balinese-style furnishings in the beautiful rooms and baths. At night we like to sit on the deck with a drink and look at the stars. The breakfast buffet is what we look forward to most. Owner Yoshie makes it fresh with local ingredients, and there are plenty of delicious, healthy side dishes that feel made with care. Coffee and fresh lemon water in the morning, with birds, a sea breeze, and green mountains around us, is so peaceful. We also walked to the nearby sea and saw fish called Koina. Thanks for such a wonderful stay. I’ll book again next year, and I’d like to have a BBQ in the evening then.

The owners were so kind, and the natural surroundings and shared terrace and hammocks made it easy to unwind. I felt refreshed in both body and mind. In the morning, birdsong woke me up, and the beach was just a five-minute walk away.

We stayed over New Year's and saw the first sunrise of the year over Koina Bay, only a two-minute walk away. The setting feels lovely, tucked into the mountains even though it’s right by the sea. It’s a relaxing place, and breakfast was delicious. There’s also a pizza oven if you want to light a fire and bake your own pizza.

Yoshie is a fantastic host, and the breakfast that comes with the stay is such a treat. They also have wreath-making and ukulele events. It has the feel of a calm little hideaway.
