Room only, and reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious, and there’s a normal-sized bath with hot water. In the morning, there’s only a shower. It’s 2 minutes to the ski resort, 10 to the convenience store, 15 to the drugstore, and 25 to Muikamachi. Shopping is a hassle, so bringing what you need beforehand is a good idea.

The bath and toilet were clean, and the off-season price was reasonable, so I was very satisfied with my stay while hiking. Resting was tough, though, because stink bugs were everywhere: four got into my room and about five were in my car.

The landlady was very kind, and the room was just right for me. The bath wasn’t especially big, but soaking in the hot water felt great. I stayed without meals. There was one problem: because it was the off-season and that time of year, stink bugs were all over inside and outside the building, with about 1-3 in my room. If bugs bother you and you’re visiting in the off-season, bringing insect spray might help.

It smelled really nice, maybe like fabric softener, and the place felt clean, nothing like I’d expected 🤣 The woman at reception was cute and friendly, and I think the person who greeted me properly was her son? The atmosphere was great. I’ll definitely stay here again when I go skiing at Hakkaisan 🙇
