We booked just a day before arriving and weren’t sure what to expect. The property turned out to be beautiful and practical, with a relaxing spa and a traditional room with futons overlooking Amanohashidate Bay. We had a memorable stay and I’d highly recommend visiting. The staff didn’t speak English, but in 2025 Google Translate made it easy to communicate. Our interactions were smooth and pleasant, and we could appreciate the hospitality and charm of the place.

A mix of modern and traditional style, but it’s not a yonsen.

You get a different view of Amanohashidate from here.

The view of Miyazu Bay was peaceful, with the bay right in front of the inn. The location is closer to Miyazu than Amanohashidate. We stayed for three consecutive nights during the three-day weekend in September, two families and five people in all. We booked two twin Western-style rooms. They weren’t new, but they were clean, well-kept, and faced the sea. The meals were excellent. Since we stayed for two nights, they served completely different menus each day. The first dinner was kaiseki built around local fish sashimi, large rock oysters, and shrimp miso hot pot. The next day’s main was a steamed hot pot with oysters, turban shells, crab, scallops, and summer vegetables. We also had simmered abalone, simmered conger eel, thinly sliced sea bream, and steak. It was a really satisfying meal. Breakfast was Japanese style, with yudofu (boiled tofu), dried local fish, and sashimi. The fish soup was especially delicious. The staff member who served us handled my several unreasonable requests efficiently and kindly, including three rice refills and plastic wrap so I could make rice balls. Thanks to the good food and well-maintained room, my family, including my elderly mother, could enjoy visiting the family grave and sightseeing in Amanohashidate and Ine without any problems. For a relatively reasonable price, the food, room, view, and service were all excellent. I’d definitely stay again when visiting the Tango area, and would recommend the inn to others. Thank you.

We needed parking since we were driving, and this hotel fit the bill. It’s only a 3-minute drive from Amanohashidate. The rooms are spacious, with sea views, and there’s a nice onsen (hot spring). Compared with the busy, expensive rooms in Amanohashidate, this felt like a great deal.
