I really liked the hostel's old Japanese house feel. The staff were helpful, and being able to check in early was great.

The shared bathroom could use a spare deodorizer, since the gas had run out. I also would've liked disinfectant wipes for the toilet seat or an alcohol spray to wet the toilet paper, like Wipe Pika. Sound carries a bit in this sharehouse-style place, for example you can hear people walking in the hallway at night, so it was a nice touch that they provided earplugs. I liked the bright, open exterior and stylish interior, which gave the place a cool feel. It was my first stay in this kind of accommodation. 😊👍❗️👍

The only bath option is a shared shower, which is a shame. Still, there's a popular hot spring next door for 450 yen, so it's enough for business travelers.

The room is simple, clean, and easy to use, and being so close to the station feels reassuring. I picked this place for its reasonable price, station proximity, dinner option at a sister restaurant, and the hot spring facility next door. There's no TV, so you'll need to find transportation information yourself. The game meat dishes at Heso Salon are delicious!
