The owners know a lot about Motobu Town’s nature and culture, and we had a great time talking with them. Their hospitality showed at breakfast too: it was made with local ingredients, had a gentle flavor, and they thoughtfully took our allergies and preferences into account. We really enjoyed it. We came as a family of four, with a preschooler and a middle school student, and stayed two nights. The inn is tucked away in a quiet spot, with only insects and birds to hear at night. We were delighted to see the sun setting over the ocean when we checked in. The rooms and open-air bath were very clean, and the garden and plants were clearly well looked after. It was a relaxing stay, and we’d definitely like to return.

We stayed on October 12, 2025, and there wasn’t any noise at all. In the quiet, you could softly hear the birds and insects. It’s a secluded mountain resort made possible by a couple. The place and its food were unlike anything you’d find in the city. The local breakfast in particular felt deeply soothing, like it let the tension drain from my shoulders.

We spent two nights here as a base for visiting places such as Churaumi Aquarium. The Okinawan home cooking was enjoyable at every meal.

The bath felt open and private, and when it rained they even lent us an umbrella, haha. We were also able to message through LINE, which made communication simple, and the owners were attentive and recommended places around the area. We spent 8 nights and 9 days here for our honeymoon. The cottage was new and clean, with a panoramic view of Okinawa’s natural scenery. Being in a cottage meant we didn’t have to worry about neighbors, and the birds and roosters were relaxing to hear. Breakfast was especially good, both in quality and quantity, with elaborate Okinawan dishes at every meal. When we needed to leave early, they flexibly prepared a bento box for breakfast. The hospitality made us very happy, and we’d love to stay again.
