There are only six rooms, and they're always full, though you can still enjoy the cafe restaurant. The place has a Mediterranean feel, with a beautiful white interior. CATHERINE MEMMI, a French interior stylist, created the hotel, her first hotel project in Japan. The furniture came from Cassina ixc in Italy, and all the pieces were designed especially for this hotel. The ceiling inside is especially lovely. I'm not sure of the name, but it looks like a rib vault arch. The hotel is excellent, and the staff are very kind and friendly.

The blue Genkai Sea fills the view through the hotel's large windows, making for a lovely scene. It's easy to feel away from everyday life even over just lunch or coffee, with the ocean and natural light all around. Hotel Grege is a white resort hotel right on the shore in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and the building has a sleek, modern look. A refined space and beautiful surroundings make it feel like a little vacation in the middle of an ordinary day.

We got married here, and the weather was beautiful that day. The views were stunning. Our guests were very happy with the delicious food, and the rooms were simple and clean. From the balcony, it felt as if we had the ocean to ourselves. Dinner wasn't included with the stay, which was a shame, but we'd love to come back for lunch or dinner.

We first saw the place at a bridal fair while looking for a wedding venue by the sea. The view from the hilltop venue was incredible, with scenery you don't usually get to see, and it really moved us. Inside, the atmosphere felt chic and calm, just right for the wedding we were dreaming about. Our planner was easy to talk to and very kind. She listened to our concerns and worked through them one by one, which helped us picture the wedding clearly. Now we're even more excited!
