Hotel Mor-Schein

The hotel is older and not as modern as the chain branches, but the service staff were hospitable, helpful, and friendly. We had to change our accommodation at the last minute, and they were understanding and helped us at every step. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were especially kind and attentive. When I got sick on my first day and needed to see a doctor, they were a big help, and I’m grateful for how pleasant they made my stay. The hotel is close to Matsumoto station and the nearby canal lined with Sakura trees. The rooms feel a little dated, but they’re clean.

We stayed for just one night a year ago, and I’d already left a review on Agoda but forgot to post one here. After spending the day walking around, we were so tired we fell straight asleep. The room was clean, the staff were lovely, and the location near the station was handy. Great value for the price. I was too tired to take any photos.

The area around the hotel has a lot of pubs, and drunk people bothered me as I drove past. The hotel itself has an old-school feel that I really like, and the location is good. The staff were polite and helpful, even showing me to the parking behind the building. The hotel covers half the parking fee. I love Nagano.
