Business Hotel Airline

The breakfast curry was delicious. It's a cheap, nice hotel, and since I only needed somewhere to sleep, it did the job.

August 2024. I came for the Midland Cinema Nagoya Airport Film Festival, which suited this location well. It may once have been close to the airport terminal, but these days it's hard to use without a car unless you're here for a similar reason. The room felt quite old, and the unit bathroom walls had gone brown, though the place was maintained well and the internet was excellent. Breakfast curry is free. I might get tired of it over several nights, but it was just right for a one-night stay.

The room has a TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, refrigerator, electric kettle, shower toilet and free Wi-Fi. The building and unit bathroom are showing their age, but the room is reasonably clean and has what you need. Check-in as late as 11 PM is a real plus, and I appreciated the 15 free parking spaces. The beds are bunks, and you're expected to sleep on the lower one, so watch your head when you sit up. From 7:00 to 8:45 AM, guests can help themselves to beef curry, iced coffee, instant coffee and drip coffee. There aren't many restaurants or shops nearby (lol). There is a Suntory vending machine on the first floor, though, with soft drinks at reasonable prices instead of the usual hotel markup.

It's close enough to walk to the airport, and the facilities are fine for a simple overnight stay without meals. The price was cheap, so that suited me. My 4,500 yen room was small, but I suppose that's to be expected. They have free curry rice for breakfast from 7am, and you can take coffee sticks from the lobby up to your room.
