When my trains to the next destination were cancelled, I was stressed, so finding this place was a relief. It’s an eight-minute walk from the station, the room rates were really nice, and there’s a convenience store right next door, so food wasn’t a worry. Staff were friendly and spoke basic English. My room was small but cozy, with hot tea, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a razor, soap, and shampoo provided. It was extremely affordable and worth every penny. One thing for anyone newly arrived from America, like me: the lobby is on the second floor, not at street level.

The staff at the lobby were friendly and very helpful, and I felt it was worth the price. The hotel isn’t too far from JR Nagoya station. My room was clean, though the bathroom was an older-style version of the standard all-in-one unit you see in other hotels. Getting in and out involved stairs every time. The elevator only runs from the second floor, where the lobby is, and the elevator access to the first floor is locked for staff only. You can leave your luggage downstairs and ask the staff to carry it up.
