HOTEL LiVEMAX Nagoya

For the price, this was a perfect stay, especially with the campaign. It’s a three-minute walk to Donnie and near the JR station. The room had a kitchen, separate bath and toilet, microwave, washing machine, two extra blankets in the closet, and enough space to open two big suitcases. There were pajamas, refreshing room spray, and charging in bed with type C, lighting, USB, YouTube Premium, and Netflix. Free water and hot water are available in the lobby, and there’s one keycard. FYI, there are no plates, folk, or spoon, so bring those yourself.

I’d rate this as a midrange long-stay hotel, not as a rental apartment. It’s 200 meters from the nearest train station, and Nagoya station is just a five-minute train ride away. For me, that location, the room quality, and the surrounding area made it a five-star stay for the price. The bathroom and toilet are separate and both ventilated. There’s a standard-size-for-Japan tub, and the bathroom space can also be used for showering. The kitchen has cabinets, a "bit-stove" (a large single burner gas stove), and a sink. The refrigerator is big enough for a small family on a several-day vacation. Each room also has a microwave, hot water dispenser, washing machine, and ion filter unit. The dryer is downstairs by the entrance, and there are racks for drying clothes on the balcony in each coat/shoe cabinet. Everything I mentioned was clean and relatively modern for its type. Almost all the noise came from passing trains, not the neighboring rooms. The lighting and A/c were remote controlled, and both were higher-end models in my room. Nearby there are plenty of pastry shops, souvenir shops, bars, and restaurants. The nearest mall is Aeon Mall, 2km away.

It feels more like an apartment than a hotel, with a nice, spacious room, washing machine, stove, and veranda. The station is only 200 m away, and Don Quijote is nearby.

The window view was lovely, and I actually enjoyed hearing the trains. The room was nice and had everything I needed, especially for such a low price.
