We booked a larger suite at Hyakuna Garan for three nights, and the meals were a real highlight. Breakfast and dinner were carefully prepared, and I’d try not to miss either one if you can, since late arrivals and early departures could mean skipping them. The resort is small and tucked beside a lovely beach, about a 45-minute drive from the airport. It’s a good place to slow down. The staff were kind throughout our stay, especially Sushil, whose attention to detail made a difference. He also arranged the details when we invited a local friend to dinner, and the evening went really well. One thing to know: mosquitoes were still active outdoors at the end of November, so we didn’t spend much time in the pretty ocean-view garden.

The food and service were spot on. Breakfast and dinner both featured local ingredients, cooked really well, and we even asked to pass our compliments to the chef. We also loved the setting: a beautiful beach is just moments away, and the hotel has spacious, thoughtfully equipped rooms, lovely shared areas, and bath houses with striking sea views. We had a fantastic time at Hyakuna Garan and would readily recommend it for a holiday in Okinawa.

The food was delicious and looked beautiful, and our room was exquisite with lovely views. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, and they made us feel genuinely special. Being at Hyakuna felt like being close to nature and to Japanese culture, especially Okinawan culture. It’s hard to imagine a more special hotel. Thank you!

The food was very good, and I found the stay comfortable. I wasn’t keen on the mattress because it felt too soft, and the couch and balcony chairs could’ve been more comfortable too.

The open-air bath was spectacular, the property was well kept, and the massage service was excellent. Our room was clean and roomy, with a comfortable bed, plenty of closet space, and a beautiful blue sea view. The meals worked out especially well for us. I’m vegetarian, and they prepared delicious Japanese vegetarian courses for breakfast and dinner. They also accommodated my partner’s dietary needs right there. Across our three nights and four days, every staff member was thoughtful and did their best to make the stay comfortable and memorable. A fantastic experience, 10/10.
