Daiwa Roynet Sakai-Higashi

I kept coming back here during my ten years of business trips to Japan, usually staying about two weeks at a time. The staff were warm, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. Having access to a washer and dryer was handy too. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room was clean and roomy compared with others, and check-in and checkout through the kiosk were easy. The staff were reliable, so I felt fine leaving my belongings in the room. The hotel is about a three-minute walk from the station, with a few restaurants right nearby. Breakfast costs less if you book ahead, though we went to Komeda’s across the small junction instead.

I stayed for two months and was welcomed with real warmth. The team were friendly throughout and did their best to help despite the language barrier. My room was spacious, well equipped, and had a very comfortable bed. The station is within 300 meters, and there are bakeries, fruit markets, restaurants, and at least four convenience stores close by. It works well for tourists or short business trips. Highly recommended.

I spent a week in a single room. It was clean, had fast wifi, and the staff were friendly. There are plenty of places to eat near Sakaihigashi station, which is also close by, and convenience stores are nearby too. The Nankai train Koya line makes Osaka easy to reach. You can use the washer and dryer on the sixth floor instead of paying for laundry, and borrow an iron and board at reception. The board was so small that it was awkward to use. I also couldn't quite figure out the room's air conditioning. Still, a good hotel overall.
