Making dinner and breakfast ourselves turned out to be one of the best parts of the stay. The half-board menus were easy to follow, the food tasted great, and there was plenty of it. We chose abrAsus for a private birthday getaway with our dog, and the lawn gave him lots of room to wander. From every living area, we could look straight out at Mount Fuji, and the facilities were well kept. At check-in, Koyama-san patiently walked us through everything using a translation app. When we accidentally ran into a technical problem, he responded quickly and reassured us while helping sort it out. We left with lovely memories of our time there.

The view of Mt. Fuji felt surreal, and the bath and sauna were incredible. Our host, Koyama, carefully explained all the details and even translated for us as we went. The hotel had every amenity we could think of. If you skip the food plan, the nearby 711 is an easy option. My girlfriend and I had such a great stay that we're already planning to come back.

I only booked two nights during my ten-day trip, and now I wish I'd stayed longer. The abrAsus hotel ended up being my favorite part of Japan, and I've been thinking about returning ever since I checked out. The staff were lovely, and the villa had everything needed for cooking, cleaning, and bathing. There were toys to keep kids, or the kid in you, occupied while waiting for Fuji-san to appear through the morning clouds. It's also conveniently close to the Kawaguchico bus station and the wind, ice, and dragon tunnels in the Aokigahara Forest. I like trying new places, but I'd happily come back here.

We had a great time cooking our own meals in the house. The view of Mt Fuji was amazing, and the place worked well for our group of four to six.

The food setup was especially thoughtful: carefully chosen ingredients were simple to prepare, and there was no need to wash dishes afterward. I also loved being able to watch Mt. Fuji change over time from the privacy of the guest room. Staying at ABRASUS HOTEL FUJI in the Kawaguchiko area of Yamanashi Prefecture felt like a real break from the ordinary. I came away very satisfied with both the facilities and the care behind them. It's a memorable place for a special occasion, and one I'd feel good recommending to family and friends.
