For 5000¥ for one person, the price was very fair. The service was basic but perfectly correct, and the room was simple, clean, and renovated. Nothing fancy, but enough for a night.

The room was noisy and the sound insulation poor, which was a real downside. There was also a strong cigarette smell. The sauna, location, and staff were great.

The electrical outlet behind the bed was coming loose. Dust was a problem throughout the dated room: the toilet’s air vent was clogged with it, and the air conditioner didn’t work properly because it was blocked up.

After 12 years in Japan, I’ve never experienced racism to this extent. If you’re not Japanese, don’t stay here.
