Naruto Kaigetsu Bettei Taimaru Kaigetsu

The building looks pretty ordinary from the outside, but inside the hotel is lovely. Our room was very spacious, and the location worked well for the art museum and whirlpool. I booked through the official website using its English translation, and since there was no credit card guarantee or advance payment, I worried we might not actually get a room. My plan was omakase, with the host assigning whatever room was available, so I expected the cheapest option without a sea view or bathtub. Instead, we got a Japanese-style room by the sea with a bathtub, which made me very happy. The front desk was friendly, and one of the women spoke English. We also tried breakfast and thought it was very good. This hotel is underrated. Highly recommend it!

The onsen on the fifth floor lets you soak while seeing and hearing the ocean waves. We also had a delicious Japanese breakfast and a friendly chat with the restaurant staff. It's a short walk to the Natuto whirlpool viewing area, and the seaside location and spacious room make this excellent value.

There's not much else around, but I loved my stay and hope to come back someday. The room was huge and felt luxurious, and the hotel is right by the beach. It also has its own spa overlooking the ocean.

It's easy to get here by bus, and the Naruto viewing bridge is fairly close. The service staff were really impressive, especially at the front desk. They were efficient and helpful with everything.
