Resort Inn Chitose

The room was clean and comfortable, and the heater worked well. The location is excellent for getting to nozawa snow resort. Unfortunately, the hotel onsen was out of service, and there was no compensation.

The owners were so helpful, and Wakaba was a wonderful host. Nothing we asked seemed to be a problem. Our family of four, with kids aged 6 and 8, had plenty of room in the clean, tidy 10-tatami traditional room to sleep and put our things. Breakfast was great, and the hotel’s onsen was clean and convenient. The location worked perfectly too, close to Yu road and the main street’s shops, bars, and restaurants.

The operators were always around, friendly, and ready to help. It’s also very close to the travelator up to the ski fields. The place itself is traditional and very small, though, and with no elevator it was tough getting suitcases up two floors.

The people who run the inn were so kind and lovely, they really made you feel warm. We had a traditional breakfast each morning, a great way to start the day. It’s also one of the nearest places to Yu Road, so getting to Hikage was easy. I’d happily come back.
