Numazu Hotel Christmas

The hotel has both ground parking and a multi-level lot, with 3-4 EV charging spots in the ground lot. Getting there takes care, since it’s easy to turn onto the highway by mistake. The side-road signs are clear, but those roads are so narrow that two-way traffic is basically impossible, lol. There are two elevators, and the checkout payment machine is right in front of them, so remember your room number. I’d booked ahead, so I didn’t use the room-selection panel behind reception. The amenities next to the desk came in a wide variety. The exterior looks like a typical love hotel, and the guest-room floors definitely have that feel, lol. But the entrance area by reception wouldn’t seem out of place in a family hotel or an entertainment hotel. The features and benefits I picked made me feel I got good value. Membership perks start on the first visit, with a welcome drink and food, free breakfast, and free rental of paid amenities, subject to quantity limits.

The food menu is broad, and the dishes are tasty. I’ll definitely come back. I often use this hotel chain while traveling because it’s convenient, and this location was just as comfortable as the others. When I visited again about a year after my last stay, the place had been completely redone. It used to have a Christmas theme all year round, but now the interior is totally different. They’ve really committed to the new concept, and I think it’s fun. The facilities are great, too, with Bluetooth speakers and screen mirroring in the bathroom.

I had booked through a booking site, but the amount charged was nearly 5,000 yen higher. I showed them the booking details and they corrected the charge, but nobody apologized.

The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and nice. Getting to the hotel by car was a little confusing, though. I’d booked the cheapest room, so it was small, and the inward-opening door was inconvenient. I also couldn’t figure out where the slippers were.
