I booked a single room and was lucky to get a high floor with a view over Okayama train station. The chain hotel is in a great spot, just steps from the station's west exit, reached easily by the elevated covered walkway. Breakfast is free for all guests.

The staff were very helpful when we needed to forward our luggage to another city. The hotel feels a little old, but it's well maintained, and breakfast had a very good variety, including ICC coffee, which was a nice touch. It's a good hotel in a great location, very close to Okayama station and shopping.

We stayed for 2 nights in a clean, cosy room. The hotel is close to the train station, with a convenience store and restaurants nearby, and Aeon mall is a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast was simple. Recommended.

After paying 800 yen, I waited almost 1.5 hrs, but two tees, a pair of shorts, and two pairs of socks still weren't dry. The dryer felt like it had scammed me. I'm not sure whether they deliberately set it at 100 yen for 10 mins so you'd need to put in 300 yen, since other Toyoko locations have older machines that run for 30 mins at 100 yen.
